There are currently few unlimited mobile broadband plans when compared with the home broadband market. The only mobile networks that market unlimited data usage mobile broadband are Orange and T-Mobile.

Even though both Orange and T-Mobile market their services as unlimited, it should be noted that fair usage polices will apply so it is important that you take these into account when you are considering an “unlimited” mobile broadband contract.

T-Mobile currently offer a less generous fair usage policy when it comes to unlimited mobile broadband, but they make up for this by the fact that they do not immediately charge excess data transfer fees if you exceed your monthly data allowance – they may just slow your access. Whereas, Orange offer much more generous download limits on their Orange Panther tariff of 20GB per month, but excess download fees would apply if you (unlikely) exceed the download allowances.
